Hi, I'm Shaylin Mitchell!

I have always been a talkative person. In kindergarten, my teacher would make her students switch tables if they talked during “silent work.” Let’s just say I was on a merry-go-round each day. Even with that plethora of things I want to express, I still struggle to find the right words or a way to convey a message as I feel it needs to be. To the dismay of my mom's wonderfully clean walls, my world opened up the moment I could scribble. Discovering new media has always been exciting, as it meant I had another way of expressing my voice. Having an outlet as wonderful as art has given me many beautiful things. One thing I love about art is that it allows us to see things from so many different perspectives and even empathize on deeper levels.Not only do I never want to give up the voice I have found through art, but I also want to give others that voice, too. Now that I have Full Sail (Grad Nov. 2025) under my belt, I am confident in my skills to do that! I love sharing all the things I make with others I may connect with. I hope you’ll be one of them.
